Debt collection in the Netherlands
Debt collection in the Netherlands can be conducted without legal representation in case of receivables which do not exceed 25.000 €. Such cases are adjudicated by the cantonal court. When the claim is higher, the participation of a Dutch lawyer is required. The language of the proceedings is Dutch.
