Debt collection in England
Judicial debt collection in England is different than in majority of countries in Europe. Lack of simplified order procedure can be seen as an impediment. To recover debt, we use a substitute procedure as a part of judicial debt collection. It allows us to obtain a default judgement. If the debtor does not respond to a suit in 14 days, the creditor obtains a sentence.
