Debt collection in Hungary
Debt collection in Hungary can be undertaken under the payment order procedure. The proceedings are conducted by the public notary thorough Hungarian Chamber of Notaries Public. Receivables cannot exceed 4.000.000 HUF. What is more, the debtor must a resident of Hungary and the claim cannot arise from employment relationship.
